DIY Ombre Painted Bottles aka Advent Candle Holders
First of all, I want to say big thank you to all of your support and compassion for our news on the last post. It means so much to me. I noticed that making the post was part of the grieving process for me and in a weird way publishing it made it more real. But now I want to get back to normal bloggy business, so here goes.
For December issue of Unelmien Talo&Koti magazine I made a new version of the painted pastel glass jars, that’s been the most popular post of Kootut murut for years already. I used four vintage glass bottles to use as advent candles. (Do you have advent candles too, or is it a Finnish / Scandinavian tradition?) The instructions are on the website in Finnish.
So cool! <3
Thanks Denise!
Wau, ihanan näköisiä!
Kiitos Nonna :)
Moi Jutta,
blogisi on todella inspiroiva! Kiitos!
Kysyit ovatko adventtikynttilät vain suomalainen perinne. Saksassakin perinne tunnetaan, mutta enemmänkin adventtikranssin muodossa.
Kiitos Henna! Adventtikranssi on minulle ihan uusi tuttavuus, mutta tosi ihanalta näytti se tekemäsi.
Very nice and I love the contrast with the dark wall.
Advent candles are not a tradition in France (maybe only in the east of France near the German border).
